ENGINE CONTROL UNIT
SMARTDOCK-ECU
ECU stands for Engine Control Unit. This is a control unit that allows you to control your engines via the SMARTDOCK app. SMARTDOCK-ECU uses the boat’s digital control systems to make the engines respond. The control data is sent from the Smartphone to the ECU, where the signal is converted and sent to the engines.
The helm of the boat is always monitored so that the operator can take back control at any time.
THRUSTER CONTROL UNIT
SMARTDOCK-TCU
TCU stands for Thruster Control Unit. This is a control unit that you can use to operate the bow and stern thrusters via the SMARTDOCK app.
The inputs from the app are received by the TCU and converted into signals for the thrusters so that the boat can be manoeuvred into any position easily and safely.

SMARTDOCK relinquishes control back to the helm station if any controls at the helm are operated or if the phone switches off or loses connection.
